All their droppings too, were kept within. Dry wood termites created a cavity to hold all their droppings. Without a detailed thorough inspection, it would not have been possible to have found the infestation.

Subterranean Termites

These type of termites are much more common than dry wood termites. This is likely because they are more aggressive in their feeding and relentless at going through wood. Subterranean termite increase their nest size according to the amount of food (cellulose in wood) that is is available. Unlike dry wood termites, subterranean termites colonies grow very large with tens of millions of worker and soldier termites.

When improper treatment is done, these termites retract. It could be 3 months to 1 year before resurfacing again. When they resurface, the infestation will be much larger with significant activity in multiple parts of the premises. Maximum Pest is usually called for termite control when a client suffers re-infestation despite having treated termites before. When right termites control is employed, aggressive infestation will not occur. After termite control, having a reliable company conduct inspections is important.
